Roof Cleaner OX 3000 Mixing details.
Q: What is the ideal sized bucket to Mix OX 3000?
I purchased the roof ox 3000 and had a question regarding mixing the pouch contents.
I used a 3 1/2 gallon bucket and mixed an 8oz pouch in 2 gallons of hot water;
after the 15 minute wait time, the solution foamed up and ran over the top and spilled out.

Should I be using a larger 5 gallon bucket or not wait the 15 minute time period.
I did use the cleaner on part of the house roof that I am cleaning and it did an excellent job.
Thanks for your help.
A: Using a 5 Gallon Bucket works best.
Whether mixing the OX EZ pouch for use in the Pro Applicator or a tank sprayer, you should always mix it in a 5 gallon bucket, so any foam is contained and settles back into the bucket. This prevents waste of the product. The 3 1/2 gallon bucket used was not large enough to accommodate both the foam, and stirring the solution.
